Who is Nordic Valley for?
Never-evers, beginners and terrain-park lovers: Nordic Valley is your place. At such an affordable price and rarely crowded, skiers and snowboarders need not feel guilty about going for just a few hours to tinker around the hill. However, for those seeking a little more challenge, Nordic Valley added the Nordic Express, a high-speed six-person chair lift, plus 100 more skiable acres that include more intermediate and expert runs.
Restaurants and Places to Relax
Nordic Valley's iconic white big barn houses the only on-mountain dining option, Nordic Valley Grill. The restaurant serves casual eats to satiate the appetites of calorie-burning skiers and boarders. Order online, take a few runs, then dine inside or take it to-go.
Where to Stay
There are no lodging accommodations at Nordic Valley, but there are plenty of hotel and short-term rental options in Eden and nearby Ogden. Options include Wolf Creek Resort, Compass Rose Lodge, Alaskan Inn, Snowberry Inn Bed & Breakfast and more.
Night Skiing
Nordic Valley lights up 45 percent of its resort for night skiing from Monday to Saturday, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you purchase an all-day ticket in advance online, it includes day and night skiing.
Run Highlights
-
Falling Star
Some trails are perfect for hot doggers who want to show off their cool moves to everyone on the lift. Falling Star is one of them. With its direct path down the Alpine lift line, this trail gives the experienced skier a chance to let everyone know just how awesome he or she is. Practice well, and you may even get applause. If you wipe out, perhaps you'll become the falling star.

Gold Rush
For intermediate skiers, it’s not often that you get to ski from the top of the mountain all the way to the bottom. But on Gold Rush, you cash in. Hit the Alpine lift to the top of the mountain at 6,330 feet, and take your time cruising the curves of Gold Rush on your tour to the end. Oh look, you’re right at the Alpine lift again. Why not go for a double before you take a rest at the lodge.
